The latest edition of Six Major for Rainbow Six: Siege is coming in closer. We will give you the details regarding the event, from the attending Six Sweden Major 2021 teams, the start date, and finally, the Grand Finals.
Six Sweden Major Start Date
The original plan for November Major was to hold it in the Asian region. However, the pandemic forced Ubisoft to shift locations due to travel restrictions and local regulations.
Gävle, Sweden is the honored city to host this edition of Six Major while the chosen venue is Gasklockorna. The event will start on November 8 and will end on November 14.
The total prize pool for Six Sweden Major is USD 500,000$, with the winner of them all taking USD 200,000$.
Teams That Will Attend the Six Major Sweden
The Six Sweden Major will sport 16 teams from 4 different regions: Asia-Pacific, Europe, North America, and Latin America. Each region will send 4 teams to the Major. These teams qualified from Stage 3 standings and playoffs.

From their performances during Stage 3, there are strong teams that we feel can bring the Major trophy to their region.
Spacestation Gaming from North America showed a brilliant performance throughout Stage 3, even getting themselves to the top leaderboard for the North American League. While Hotandcold is their top-performing player, all team members of SSG show the determination that can very well get them the Major title.
Team Empire from Europe showed excellent consistency throughout their Stage 3 run. Without a doubt, this team is one of the most accomplished teams in the Rainbow 6 Pro League. While they didn’t get the Mexico Major title (they lost to Team oNe during the Grand Finals), fans can expect them to bring the same performance to Six Sweden Major.
FaZe Clan dominated the LATAM scene, showing an impressive run, and managed to get number one on the leaderboard. They also won Copa Elite Six Season 2021: Stage 3. We can expect them to bring that same performance for the Major.
SANDBOX is another promising contender that hauls from the Asia-Pacific North region. Although they slumped and showed terrible performance during Stage 2, they managed to bounce back and brought some exemplary display through their Stage 3 run. It’s certainly interesting to see what they can bring to the Six Sweden Major.
It’s worth noting that some well-known teams such as TSM, G2, and Team Liquid could make it to Six Major Sweden after failing in the qualifying stages.

Six Major Sweden 2021 Grand Finals
After the Groups for the Major finish on November 10, the Playoffs will kickstart on November 12 and will end the next day.
The first round of the Playoffs and the Semi-finals will be Best-of-3, single-elimination, with the winner advancing and the loser eliminated from the competition.
The Grand Final will take place on November 14 and will be a Best-of-5 match to decide the winner of the Six Sweden Major.
