What Is The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth?

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is a randomly generated action RPG shooter that features heavy rogue-like elements. Players will assume control of Isaac, who is on a quest to escape his mother while facing off against droves of mysterious creatures, discovering secrets, and fighting fearsome bosses.

As the game progress, Isaac can find bizarre treasures that change his form and give him super-human abilities. But it won’t be easy!

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is a remake of the original game that sports 60 FPS, pixelated style artwork, polished visual effects while adding a new soundtrack from Ridiculon. Not to mention, tons of additions such as hundreds of new rooms, synergies, and retuned enhancements by developer/publisher Nicalis, Inc.

There are three DLCs available for Rebirth, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth †, and The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is just the base game, without any additional DLCs. While The Binding of Isaac: Repentance is the ultimate edition of Rebirth, adding all previous DLCs and new contents.

The favorite fan-made expansion, Antibirth, will also make its appearance within The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.

You can expect the release time for The Binding of Isaac: Repentance from November 4 at 4 AM UTC or 6 AM CEST. The price of the game will be $59.99. Do note that you can’t purchase separate DLCs and must buy the ultimate edition to get the whole experience.
