Six Major Mexico 2021 Day 1: Live Results, Match Schedule, Watch Here

The time has come for another LAN tournament between the Rainbow Six Siege giants around the world after the Six Invitational 2021. For the first time ever, Six Major goes to Mexico, and Day 1 matches are just around the corner.

A total of 16 teams will compete against each other for the biggest share of the $500,000 prize pool. Unfortunately, one week prior to the beginning of the tournament, Pittsburgh Knights from the APAC region announced that they wouldn’t be able to participate in the Six Major Mexico due to the COVID-19 rules in Australia. Regarding that, the competition now has 15 teams.

Group Stage and Playoffs

The group stage includes four groups, each with four teams, except for Group B that will have three teams due to the absence of Knights. The two top teams of each group will proceed to the Playoffs. Teams will play twice against each group-mate in the Best-of-One format.

This time around, there won’t be upper and lower brackets. Playoffs feature only one bracket, which means there will be no second chance for losing teams. Playoffs matches will be played in the Best-of-Three format, while the Grand Finale will be a Best-of-Five match with no round privilege for any of the teams.

Six Major Mexico Day 1

Starting on August 16, each team will play at least one match in the group stage on Day 1. Below, you can check out all the details about Day 1, including live stream channels, live results, and more.

How to Watch Six Major Mexico

Two official Rainbow Six Siege channels on Twitch will stream the matches. Known as Stream A and Stream B, you can watch all the group stage and Playoffs matches through the channels. Once the Day 1 matches go live, we will embed both channels here.
