Epic Games Free Game for This Week: Control

As a part of its weekly giveaway program, Epic Games offers a fantastic, story-rich experience for this week. Control is the next free title on Epic Games Store, and you have only seven days to add it into your account’s library forever.

Originally launched back in 2019, Control is the latest game from Remedy Entertainment, the developers behind Alan Wake. The game was first revealed during PlayStation’s E3 2018 press conference, and now, just a few days before E3 2021 kicks off, it’s free to claim for PC gamers.

Control follows the story of Jesse Faden, who enters the Federal Bureau of Control in search of her missing brother, Dylan. However, things don’t look normal inside the bureau from the very beginning. The more you progress, the more unanswered questions pop up.

Control features third-person action gameplay where it shares satisfying gunplay with some supernatural abilities to deliver a fascinating experience. Your progress in the game will be translated into the rewarding upgrade and expanse of your weaponry and skill tree.
