Starfield Release Date and New Trailer Revealed at E3 2021

Exploring deep in the space!

Today, Microsoft officially unveiled Bethesda’s mysterious project. Now, we have full info on the Starfield release date and universe.

It’s been long anticipation, but it finally ended today. Almost three years after announcing Starfield by a brief teaser at E3 2018, Bethesda and Microsoft shared a detailed look at this new IP. Check out the trailer down below:

What is Starfield About?

As you may already know based on the previous leaks, Starfield is a third-person space-exploring title. Developed by Bethesda Game Studios, Starfield puts you in the role of a space explorer working under the wing of a corporation called Constellation. The game is powered by Creation Engine 2.

According to the trailer, the universe of Starfield has been under development for 25 years. Apparently, Bethesda Game Studios wants it to be as big as Fallout and The Elder Scrolls series. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any gameplay scenes, but the game is over one year away from launch. Probably we have to wait until the next E3 for the first look at the gameplay.

The Microsoft and Bethesda showcase for E3 2021 is now live and you can watch it on YouTube or Twitch. The show is around 90 minutes, including both first-party and third-party showcases from the games coming to PC and Xbox consoles.

The Starfield release date has been set for November 11, 2022, coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC, and available on Xbox Game Pass on day one. The game will apparently skip Xbox One to deliver a true next-gen experience with no need to worry about old and limited consoles of the past.
