According to the PlayStation Database, the Oxenfree 2 Lost Signals release date has been set for February 8, 2022, which is less than two months from now!
Originally revealed during a Nintendo Direct earlier this year, Oxenfree 2 Lost Signals is the sequel to 2016’s unique story-driven game by Night School Studio, Oxenfree. Coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC, Oxenfree 2 targets a 2022 launch window, with the exact date yet to be announced.

However, a new leak from the PlayStation database reveals that the sequel to Oxenfree will be available on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. This date has not been confirmed by the developers, but the Twitter account of PlayStation Game Size claims that the date has been spotted on the PlayStation database.
Although it sounds reasonable for Oxenfree 2 to be released almost a year after its announcement, the information in the PlayStation database could be false as it doesn’t change the release date of delayed titles usually.
Despite the fact that Oxenfree 2 has not been officially delayed, but the current release date on the database could be the developer’s initial plan for launching the game, which is subject to change at any time while it’s not official yet.
That being said, we hope Night School Studio breaks its silence and shares the official release date of the game in the remaining days of 2021.
Oxenfree 2 Lost Signals follows the story of Riley five years after the events of the original game, where she gets back to Camena, her homeland, to investigate mysterious radio signals. The game still features the old gameplay mechanics and art design, but the story is supposed to be even more surprising than before.
