July 2021 PS Plus Games Include Call of Duty Black Ops 4

July 2021 PS Plus Games: Call of Duty Black Ops 4
Story-driven game? Checked. Multiplayer shooter? Checked. Fun arcade game? Checked.

Fortunately, July 2021 PS Plus games have a wide variety in genre. From story-driven games like A Plague Tale Innocence to a fast-paced multiplayer like Call of Duty Black Ops 4. And there’s also a third pick for arcade sports enthusiasts: WWE 2K Battlegrounds.

While Call of Duty Black Ops 4 and WWE 2K Battlegrounds will head to PS4, A Plague Tale Innocence will only be available for PS5 owners. July 2021 PS Plus games will be available for all the subscribers on July 5.

Now, let’s find out more about each game.

A Plague Tale Innocence

A Plague Tale Innocence

Following the story of Amicia and her younger brother Hugo, the game is set during the Hundred Years’ War. While your homeland has been occupied by the English Army, a deadly plague has also spread into the country that can be transmitted by rats.

Playing as Amicia, the players will be asked to solve different puzzles and survive different situations by sneaking around the soldiers and using the stealth mechanic. If you are looking for a story-rich single-player experience, don’t miss this one.

July 2021 PS Plus Games: Call of Duty Black Ops 4

Call of Duty Black Ops 4

The first entry to skip a story-driven campaign mode, and also the first entry to include a Battle Royale mode. This is probably the best way to describe Call of Duty Black Ops 4 and its unique features.

For many Call of Duty fans, Black Ops 4 is still the best fast-paced multiplayer experience in the series. Moreover, the game also features different Zombies scenarios that allow you to fight against the infected horde in different locations and periods of time.

WWE 2K Battlegrounds

WWE 2K Battlegrounds

As you may already know, 2K Games skipped the WWE 2K series in 2020 after the disastrous launch of WWE 2K20 in 2019. That being said, the publisher didn’t leave the fans empty-handed. A smaller-scale, arcade version of WWE under the name of WWE 2K Battlegrounds was launched earlier this year.

Featuring a number of most famous wrestlers from WWE, you can fight against your opponents on various maps and equip some superpowers to be the champion of this crazy competition.

It’s worth noting that Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown will still be available for PlayStation Plus members until August 2nd. So if you have not added it to your library yet, get it soon.
