The ESO Blackwood Xbox Game Pass availability might be a question for all the subscribers of the service, especially now that Bethesda is a part of the Xbox family.
The Elder Scrolls Online has been available on the Xbox Game Pass for consoles even before Bethesda’s acquisition by Microsoft. For the old-school fans of The Elder Scrolls series, the online version and its post-launch expansions are a way to still remain connected to the incredible universe of Skyrim and Oblivion.

The latest post-launch content for The Elder Scrolls Online is the Blackwood expansion. While it’s now available on PC, the Xbox and PlayStation versions are about to arrive on June 8.
If you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, then you might have some doubts on whether the new expansion would be available for free for on the service, or you would still need to pay for it.
Can You Get a Free Version of ESO Blackwood on Xbox Game Pass?
Unfortunately, the Blackwood expansion won’t be available for free for the Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Either you play The Elder Scrolls Online on PC or an Xbox console, you need to pay for the DLC to play it at launch.
That being said, the new expansion might be added to the game in the future as all the expansions until the Morrowind DLC are currently available for free for the Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
Bethesda officially announced The Elder Scrolls 6 as the next mainline entry of the franchise back in 2018. Since then, nothing new has been shared about the game, and we probably won’t hear anything about it anytime soon as Starfield is the closest project to launch from Bethesda Game Studios.
The Elder Scrolls Online is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
