How to Level Up in Elden Ring Without Fighting

Elden Ring is a pretty hard game, especially for those who are experiencing their very first title from Hidetaka Miyazaki and FromSoftware studio. If you try to level up the normal way, you have to fight with so many brutal enemies, but what if you could earn Runes without fighting? Well, it’s possible!

This is something that I come up with quite randomly when I was exploring Liurnia of The Lakes in Elden Ring. It requires no certain progress in the game. You don’t even need to defeat a single boss to get these combat-free Runes. And guess what? You can repeat it forever by visiting a Site of Grace.

How to Earn Runes Without Fighting and Level Up in Elden Ring

First of all, you need to discover a Site of Grace called Liurnian Highway North. The location of the site has been marked on the images below.

You don’t need to beat the first boss to reach this Site of Grace. You can go around the map from Stormhill and get to the Liurnia of The Lakes. You might encounter a poisonous field this way, which you can pass through, thanks to Torrent!

Once you discovered the site, continue your way a little bit towards the north along the road, just before you reach beneath a small bridge, you will see a blue army along with a blue giant appear on the road, fighting against a number of other enemies. Once the blue giant spawned, run a little further until he stops chasing you and gets distracted by tiny soldiers.

Now, get a little bit closer to the giant and watch the war between him and poor soldiers. Any soldier that dies in this battle will reward you with Runes as if you are the one who kills them.

It will take around 2 minutes for the blue giant to wipe the soldiers out, and you will earn around 1000 Runes by only watching this fight. Now, get back to the nearest Site of Grace and repeat the action. This way, you will earn thousands of Runes without even picking a single fight.

Keep in mind that the blue giant is not friendly at all. So, forget about helping him out in the battle as he would crush you as well.
