Cold War/Warzone Double XP Weekend Began - When Does it End?

A few hours earlier, the first Double XP Weekend of July 2021 has officially begun. You can jump into Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War or Warzone and earn double rewards for playing online for a limited time. Warzone and Cold War Double XP Weekend end date has been set for July 6 at 10 am PT/5 pm UTC.

Double XP Weekend is a great chance for gamers who can’t play online during the weekdays. It’s also the best opportunity to increase your level in the season and unlock more Battle Pass items. Even if you don’t own the Battle Pass for Season Four, there are still some items that you can acquire for free.

For those of you that play Call of Duty Warzone, the Double XP will only be applied at Plunder Blood Money, Resurgence, and BR Buy Back. If you play the ordinary Battle Royale in Verdansk, you won’t get the XP multiplier.

Prior to the beginning of the Double XP Weekend, the developers updated the Warzone playlist by adding BR Buy Back and Plunder Blood Money. The former is the same Battle Royale Quads, but it allows you to respawn after death if you have already collected enough cash to spend on your revival. There is no Gulag in this mode, but your squad still can purchase a revive from you from Buy Stations on the map.

With the addition of BR Buy Back, Raven Software removed the Rebirth Island Resurgence Duos, while keeping its Quads version. On the other hand, Plunder was replaced by its Blood Money version, which grants cash for every kill that you get in the game.

Call of Duty Warzone is now available for free on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is also available for the same platforms but you have to pay for it. Hopefully, the game is currently available with a significant discount.
